Start with the essentials.
Curious about camel milk in the UK? Explore where it comes from, how powder fits into everyday routines and what to check before choosing a pack.
What is camel milk?
Camel milk is dairy milk produced by camels. It has a long place in the food traditions of camel-herding communities. The Food and Agriculture Organization describes its importance to people living in dry regions.
Kamelish is a British brand with UAE origins. Our original 400g product contains 100% full-cream camel milk powder.
What does camel milk taste like?
The FAO describes camel milk as slightly saltier than cow milk. Flavour varies with the animal’s diet, environment and other conditions. Taste is also personal: try it prepared according to the instructions for the specific product you choose.
Camel milk powder versus fresh milk
Fresh milk and milk powder are different formats. Powder is prepared with water before drinking. For a powdered product, the mixing ratio, storage guidance and time allowed after preparation should come from its own packaging.
Compare the ingredients and nutrition information on each pack rather than assuming every camel milk product has the same composition. A fresh product and a powdered product may list nutrition on different bases; check whether the figures refer to the powder or prepared milk.
How do I prepare camel milk powder?
Read the pack first, measure the recommended quantity of powder and water, and mix as directed. Use clean utensils and follow the product’s instructions for water temperature and storage. Our guide explains the steps without inventing a mixing ratio.

Is camel milk dairy?
Yes. Kamelish is a dairy product that contains lactose; it is not vegan or lactose-free. Check the pack’s ingredient and allergen information. For questions about allergies or individual dietary needs, seek advice from a qualified healthcare professional.

- A clear ingredient list and allergen information.
