THE KAMELISH GUIDE
Buying camel milk powder in the UK
A useful checklist for ingredients, traceability, pack instructions and honest availability before you buy.
When comparing camel milk powder in the UK, look beyond the brand name. A clear ingredient list, traceable supplier and readable preparation instructions are useful starting points. Be cautious about making a purchase solely on the basis of dramatic health promises.
Check what is in the pack
Read the ingredients to establish whether the powder contains only camel milk or is a blend. Check the pack weight, nutrition panel and allergen information. Animal milk is a dairy food, and ordinary camel milk contains lactose.
Ask about origin and traceability
The location of a brand’s office does not necessarily tell you where its milk was produced or its powder manufactured. Look for the product’s origin and responsible business details. Keep your order confirmation and packaging so you can identify the batch if you need to contact the supplier.
Compare the real cost
Compare the price for the same weight of powder and include delivery charges. To estimate a cost per prepared serving, use the pack’s mixing instructions. A lower tin price does not automatically mean a lower price per serving if the pack sizes differ.
Read preparation and storage information
Check how to mix the powder, what equipment or measure is needed and how to store it before and after opening. Prepared milk needs its own handling instructions. If important information is missing, ask before buying.
Kamelish availability
Kamelish is preparing for launch. Check our product page and contact us for current availability; an information page is not confirmation that stock is ready to dispatch. Join our launch email list for updates. Retailers and distributors can use our wholesale enquiry page to discuss pack information and supply plans.
A note for parents
Ordinary camel milk powder is not infant or follow-on formula. It should not replace breast milk or infant formula for babies under one year. For allergy, intolerance or feeding questions, seek advice from your healthcare professional.
